SBA Communications operates as a virtual Public relations Agency using an Associates model to deliver effective and scalable solutions to support organisations and projects.
SBA Communications consists of a small core of operators who have a history of success working together prior to the establishment of SBA. The relationships and history of success together were forged in the aftermath of the Canterbury earthquakes, in an environment of high responsibility, accountability and change. Following the extensive work in Christchurch, our operators kept in touch, continuing to look for opportunities to work with proven colleagues who worked well together. Ultimately this desire to work with proven experts in their fields, resulted in SBA being founded.
SBA being a virtual Agency, allows us to be flexible and easily respond to the needs of our clients. Our extensive network of operators encompasses a wide field of expertise and experience. From Deputy CEO and head of communications for government departments, former journalists and press secretaries, co-design and engagement leads, to urban demolition and infrastructure experts working with the United Nations.
At SBA we have extensive experience in nearly all aspects of communication and engagement, and additional experts on call, ensuring no project is too big or too small.
We have access to a wide network of expertise and operate a hub and spoke delivery model for informing, supporting coordinating and delivering various pieces of work.
